The Hinister of Agriculture and Commerce in use of his legal rikituons, and

Considering:

(1) That the Agronomo ingles Mr.Morley T.Dawe projects a journey scientific exploration of the eastern and western margins of the Milena river, from Honda to Barranquills;

(2) That the country has obtained great advantages of the various ursions made by Mr.Dave throughout the country, in which hehas Zied carefully the Golombian flora and the natural resources

has rendered important reports which this office has published distributed, and which have contributed in the Exterior, to the iter Inowledge of the valuable resources of the Colombian soil; (3) Thator the region which Mr.Dawe projects to study hasnot, to the present, been made any scientific study,remaining therefore how much of the riches which there occur;

§ (4) That it is of importance to avail of the solid and extensive

ntific experience of Mr.Dave, for the good of the Nation, and (5) That Mr.Dawe has offered the Goverment, gratuitously his Mices in this respe ot;
